Key Points to Getting Started
Terms herein:
"AM" or "WE" = American Marketing, Inc.
"YOU" = Agent or General Agent
"FEA" = Federal Employees Association
"GEA" = Government Employees Association |

What WE do:
- Supply FREE –
1000 mail back cards
- Provide you a computer list of federal
employees in your county, including the name, employment
installation, GS level, and income.
- Pay the postage on returned cards.
(Should receive 30 to 50 leads).
- Will send an additional 200 cards to
hand distribute. Your trainer will tell you by
phone how that is to be done.
- AM’s trainer will obtain a copy
of the leads and set the interviews for the first 3 days
of personal training in your town. You will see a live
presentation by the trainer. He/she will get the commission.
- We the FEA/GEA association president,
George Callaway, will send several letters
to the personal directors of 3 or 4 installations, introducing
you.
- AM’s trainer will take you to
the installations and show you how to call on the boss.

What
YOU do:
- Look up addresses of 1000 employees
and place them on the cards. (Suggestion: Obtain from
the Internet).
- Pay the postage for 1000-card mailing.
- MUST learn presentation prior to training.
- You will give the presentation the
last 2 days with the trainer as your backup. Should you
complete the sale, you will keep the commission. Should
you require your trainer’s assistance, you will
split the commission.
- You will receive all the leads from
the lead cards left over and from the referrals (sponsored
federal workers).
- You will obtain the name, job title,
address, and phone numbers of 3 to 4 bosses of federal
installations in your area and fax in to the home office
for Mr. Callaway to send out an introductory letter on
your behalf.

| THE FORM BELOW
IS AN EXAMPLE OF YOUR ON-GOING LEAD SYSTEM: (Sponsored
Federal Members) When closing, always ask the client to fill
out the FEA/GEA application. Most will quickly comply and
fill in the sponsored names.
If
you make more withdrawals on your bank account than you
do deposits, your account will be overdrawn and you will
be financially broke.
The same is true in you prospect bank. When the bank is
empty, you’re out of business.
NOTE: Do not leave the client until you
successfully acquire a minimum of 6 leads (sponsored federal
members.
Many of our representatives obtain an average of 10 to 15
leads per house. When you receive more than 6 names, apply
the remaining sponsored people to the FEA application, then
fold the original application and place the list at the
bottom.
CREDIBILITY: Make a copy of the completed
FEA/GEA application. When calling on each sponsored person’s
home, start the interview by presenting them with a copy
of this application. They will recognize that their co-worker
or friend endorsed this program and wanted to share it with
them by sponsoring them.
